Techcomp Group Ltd, UK, 28th October 2013:
Techcomp Europe Ltd is pleased to announce the opening of two new facilities to further extend technical and service support to customers and partners.
United Kingdom – Newport Pagnell
A new office, warehouse, customer demonstration laboratory and service/calibration facility has been opened in Newport Pagnell in the UK. Techcomp Europe’s General Manager for the Distribution Business, Allan Mackenzie commented, “This wonderful new facility will bring together under one roof the European operations for Dynamica analytical instruments and Hitachi centrifuges, plus the UK operations for Precisa balances and Froilabo Ultra Low Temperature products. We now have dedicated demonstration facilities to test customer samples and run sessions for users and technical staff. Customers are already appreciating greater local support and easier access to training”
This will be the first time that larger items of equipment can be experienced by customers in the UK including the Hitachi Ultra Centrifuge range, the prepASH Thermo Gravimetric Analyser from Precisa and the High/Low Temperature Forced Air Streamer from Froilabo. Research customers will also be able to run samples on systems from recently acquired Edinburgh Instruments including the new FS5 Fluorescence Spectrophotometer.
Following the recent incorporation of Techcomp-Latino, S.A. de C.V. to support the Latin America markets, Techcomp Europe Ltd has opened a new office, warehouse and service facility in Mexico City to support the Precisa, Dynamica and Froilabo brands. Techcomp America and Latin America President, Octavio Cruz-Aedo explained, “Precisa has been a strong brand in Latin America for many years, but with the recent launches of the Dynamica and Froilabo products in the region we needed a larger operation to support our partners with local stock and technical support. The team in Mexico has continued to develop and with our applications expertise, we can now offer customer training and demonstrations in our tailor-made facilities.”
Techcomp Europe CEO, Chris O’Connor added finally, “I am delighted that we have been able to add these two new locations to our expanding network of manufacturing, sales and service operations. Techcomp Europe now has factories in France, Switzerland, Scotland and Romania with Sales and Service in Germany, England, USA and Mexico. This investment continues to strengthen our support to customers alongside the efforts of our distribution partners in all of our international markets.”
